Virginia law enforcement agencies serve as the host agencies for Virginia Rules Camps. The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) can provide funding (up to $2,500 per camp) as well as program guidance and assistance connecting agencies with local volunteer groups to support planning. Hosting responsibility, however, remains with the law enforcement agency.
For this funding cycle, the OAG is especially interested in supporting camps that incorporate child internet safety education, including programming focused on online risks, responsible digital behavior, and strategies for keeping youth safe online. While this is not a requirement, applications that prioritize child internet safety will be given special consideration.
All the details, including the downloadable application, can be found on our Host a Camp page »
