The VA Rules camp provided an enriching, robust, and fun environment for our city children to positively interact with Lexington Police Officers, and at the same time learn valuable life skills, and making healthy lifestyle choices as part of the VA Rules curriculum. The camp structure afforded our police officers the unique opportunity to foster trusting relationships with the children we serve, that continues well past the last day of camp, with children and police officers eagerly anticipating the next VA Rules camp experience.
